Beach Fires on Bay Area Beaches

Question: Are there any Bay Area beaches (other than Ocean Beach) that allow beach fires?

Answer: There are several Bay Area beaches that allow beach fires. To the north of San Francisco, Point Reyes National Seashore allows them, but you'll need a fire permit, and if the fire danger is high all bets are off. You're also allowed to collect driftwood for your fire.

In Marin County, Muir Beach allows beach fires in the 3 fire rings located on the beach.

As far as I know, Ocean Beach is the only San Francisco Beach that permits fires (in fire rings). Both Muir Beach and Ocean Beach are part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area operated by the National Park Service.

In Santa Cruz, Seabright State Beach allows fires in the fire rings.
