June 3, 2005 - Woodies Head to Santa Cruz
Woodies on the Wharf in Santa Cruz
June 25, 2005
Woodies and surfing just seem to go together. That's how this celebration of the vintage station wagon became an annual event in Santa Cruz. You can see over 200 pre-1953 woodies all in one place.
In true Santa Cruz style, the event is laid-back and fun. If you have a woodie, just show up. You can park your woodie on the wharf starting at 6 am. The event opens to the public at 10 am and ends at 4 pm with a parade off the wharf.
There will be music, t-shirts, memorabilia, and prize drawings. Presented by the Santa Cruz Woodies. Co-sponsored by O'Neill, the Wharf Association and the City of Santa Cruz.
